The Wisemining Sato Boiler- A Product That Aims to Heat Your Home and Offset Costs by Mining Bitcoin – Mining Bitcoin News
In a little over two weeks, a company called Wisemining plans to release a new product called Sato, a water heater that can provide heat to a home by using ASIC mines to generate heat. This also means that heating generates income in the form of cryptocurrencies, which significantly offsets the cost of heating the home.
Bitcoin mining and cogeneration
Although bitcoin (BTC) and many crypto assets have become very valuable, there has been a lot of criticism about mining the digital currency and how it consumes a lot of electricity. Despite the many refutations written over the years, and even books explaining that mine power consumption (PoW) is not nearly as high, the myths continue to circulate.
Another issue that is often overlooked is the fact that bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining can support CHP concepts. In fact, cryptocurrency miners have the ability to provide cogeneration ideas for a variety of heat generation mechanisms. This has led to people coming up with innovative ideas with bitcoin makers, such as. B. Cultivation of tomatoes and distillation of spirits.
Essentially, cogeneration is the use of energy and other energies used together, such as. B. use of excess steam from the electricity to produce heat. In April this year, Wisemining plans to launch a new product that will enable cogeneration based on PoW. The company sells a product called Sato, a water heater that allows you to mine bitcoins (BTC) and heat your home at the same time. Essentially, the Sato consists of a tank for ASIC devices, a 200-liter water tank with two heat exchangers, a dielectric cooler, tank fittings, and a cartridge for your hash card.
ASIC mining devices are not included with Sato, but the website states that the machine supports Antminer S9 / S17 / S19 / S19 Pro / S19+ series BTC mining devices. For the cogeneration tree to work, the house must be supplied with electricity and have access to the internet. Wisemining’s website states that customers can integrate devices or, for an additional fee, the company will install hash tables for customers who don’t want to do it themselves. The pre-order price for Sato’s bitcoin mining machine is $8,990, according to the website, and the company accepts BTC for payment.
Sato computer: Five trips, four years, two bitcoins
The choppers are ASICs that sit in a metal cage the size of a large shoebox. To use the Sato pot, the chips are removed and placed in a Wisemining tank designed for ASICs. Sato costs are definitely higher than the average cost of a reliable 200-gallon water heater, which can range from $2,500 to $5,000. The Wisemining website also has an online calculator to determine how much money can be made with the Sato kit. For example, a house of about 2,000 square feet, with four residents and five of the best hashbrowns in the eastern U.S., would have yielded more than 2 BTC in four years.
The concepts of bitumen production and cogeneration have developed significantly in recent years. Just recently, Bitcoin.com reported on Genesis Mining’s greenhouse project in Sweden. Genesis mining containers operated by ASIC are used for heat generation to heat greenhouses during the cold winter months. In addition, bitcoin supporter Jesse Peltan suggested the idea of cogeneration on Twitter last summer, with miners heating hot tubs. A tweet, called SPA256, said: Every citadel needs a bitcoin hot tub. Few people understand this.
Every Citadel needs a #BitcoinHotTab.

According to Wisemining’s website, sales of the Sato boilers will begin in April and the company will be taking pre-orders for the first batch of 100 units. A few days ago, the Wisemining product was also mentioned on the French portal bitcoin.fr. The above calculations are only informative, as the company says, and give an idea of the size. The full case study can be viewed via the company’s forecasting tool, available on Discord.
